We now have the option for much stronger democracy, with more inclusion, accountability, and representation.

This campaign is different, in a stark way, because I'm running as a "Liquid Democracy Candidate".

This means that if elected, I promise to vote on every single item as directed by our local District 19 liquid democracy, using www.united.vote.

In other words, it's not about me, but giving everyone a more equal opportunity to be a part of the legislative process.

And for the vast majority of us that are too busy for day-to-day participation, we can pick personal proxies for much more trustworthy representation, with instant accountability.

The goal of this campaign is to introduce many more people to our ideas for healthier politics.

Go to www.united.vote, sign up, and pick some representatives asap if you haven't already. ⚡️It only takes about 3 minutes.

A Growing Movement

I'm not the first Liquid Democracy Candidate in America. That honor goes to Camilo Casas, who ran for Boulder city council last year.

His campaign was a smashing success for awareness building: it got a bunch of national news coverage (Boston Globe, NPR, Vice, frontpage of Reddit, etc). Millions more people around the world learned about liquid democracy and how we can make it a reality with these special pledged candidates.

Hopefully there will be more of us yet to come.

Liquid democracy is a question of when, not if.

It does take some time to come to understand, and that's unfortunate. We are going against 200+ years of electoral representation, so perhaps not too surprising.

I've spent the last 18 months of my life focusing on this, talking to many new people every day. And I've found the vast majority, given enough time and thought, become very enthusiastic about this future we're working towards.

Liquid democracy: Pick anyone you want to represent you, with the option to override or replace them at any time.

Amazingly, the enthusiasm is shared across political affiliations, incomes, age, gender, race, geography, you name it.

This is about something much bigger than any single seat.

This is what 21st century democracy can become.

It's about more humane political representation for our modern, rapidly changing world.

Please consider supporting this campaign.

This is our chance to reach orders of magnitude more people than we've been able to so far.

It would be an honor to have you on our team.
